Local Assistance Centers Open to Support Wildfire Survivors (UPDATED)

Published:

Editor’s note: Local Assistance Center information has been updated as of Oct. 20, 2020.

In the ongoing response and recovery mission to support wildfire survivors impacted by the 2020 fire siege across California, the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) in joint support from local, state and federal agencies are announcing multiple Local Assistance Centers (LAC) opening to wildfire survivors.

LACs are activated following major disasters to support survivors and businesses that have suffered disaster-related losses or damages. Each center is unique and locally-driven with support from local, state, federal and non-profit agencies. We strongly recommend you reach out to the County or Local Assistance Center directly for the best information on recovery services. We will update this list with new information as it becomes available.

Aw, this was an extremely good post. Taking the time and actual effort to create a superb article… but what can I say… I hesitate a whole lot and don’t seem to get anything done.

During these last months, I have been “closet-cleaning” and have a box of VERY GOOD, barely worn clothes that I wish to donate. I prefer NOT to just take the box and toss it at the Goodwill Store intake worker, but to hand it to an agency volunteer who will give the clothing to people in need who have lost everything. Are you able to tell me if the Clovis Veteran’s Memorial hall will take clothing donations for fire victims?

    Thank you.

I sell refurbished food grade water tanks. My tanks would be an excellent source for water storage for victims of both drought and fire damage.
I am trying to find out where to contact someone to make these available.
Could you please send a phone number.
    Thank you
