Governor Newsom Requests Federal Assistance to Support California’s Efforts to Prepare for COVID-19 Surge

SACRAMENTO – Governor Gavin Newsom sent a letter today to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy requesting additional federal assistance to supplement California’s efforts to prepare for a COVID-19 surge.

    I am in great need of financial assistance i was homeless for almost 2 years was forced to move due to an unhealthy relationship so i went to the streets. I have not had good job security so i lost my last place i had i am now in Oceanside renting a room i work for lyft. and now have not enough to pay my rent which is due 4 days. I was able to get ebt for food i do not want to be on the streets again my rent is 900. i just barley moved here January. I have been looking and applying for jobs daily is there any financial help i dont want to loose what little i have car ins ant my roof please advise
