BE PREPARED CALIFORNIA! We are excited to announce California’s Preparedness Day will take place on Saturday, September 14th from 10a-2p in Old Sacramento! This exciting day will help your family be more prepared in the event of a disaster or emergency. This is one of the biggest disaster preparedness events in California (and possibly the nation) and it’s also fun, free, and family-friendly!
There will be LIVE demonstrations, preparedness tips, public safety vehicles, meet-and-greets with first responders, food trucks, music, kid’s area, face painting, and much more! Last year’s event was a tremendous success with more than 6,000 people stopping by to learn how to be prepared, get their family ready for the next disaster, and meet public safety heroes.
