BE PREPARED CALIFORNIA! We are excited to announce California’s Preparedness Day will take place on Saturday, September 14th from 10a-2p in Old Sacramento! This exciting day will help your family be more prepared in the event of a disaster or emergency. This is one of the biggest disaster preparedness events in California (and possibly the nation) and it’s also fun, free, and family-friendly!

There will be LIVE demonstrations, preparedness tips, public safety vehicles, meet-and-greets with first responders, food trucks, music, kid’s area, face painting, and much more! We know you’ll be there, but don’t forget to spread the word to your family and friends by sharing the Facebook event page by clicking here.

Last year’s event was a tremendous success with more than 6,000 people stopping by to learn how to be preparedget their family ready for the next disaster, and meet public safety heroes.

For the latest event updates check out our event website or Facebook event page. To check out all the fun from last year, take a look at our photo album and short video!
