Often, this information is easy to find on social media, so it’s easy for hackers to determine your passwords with these words.
  2. Use stronger authentication. Always opt to enable stronger authentication when available, especially for accounts with sensitive information including your email or bank accounts. A stronger authentication helps verify a user has authorized access to an online account.   3. Limit the amount of personal information you share online. Don’t overshare on social networking websites. Keep Social Security numbers, account numbers, and passwords private, as well as specific information about yourself, such as your full name, address, birthday, and even vacation plans.
