Video: Mutual Aid Strike Teams Tackle Explosive Dixie Fire

Plumas County, Calif. – The Dixie Fire in Butte and Plumas counties continues to grow in northern California, burning more than 200,000 acres since it began on July 13th. It’s now the 14th largest wildfire in California history.

The California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) continues to deploy mutual aid resources to the front lines of the explosive fire.

As of Wednesday afternoon, 130 Cal OES mutual aid engines from across the state were responding to the Dixie Fire.
