Smoke:
Today will be the last day of elevated SW winds before speeds start to reduce. The West side of the Sierra Crest is starting off the day fairly clean and any smoke should clear by noon. South Lake Tahoe should improve into the Unhealthy range by mid-afternoon. The North and NW sides of the basin, including Reno, Truckee, Tahoe City, and Tahoma should be spared the majority of smoke impact as the plume will once again travel over the Southern heel of the Basin. Carson City, but more significantly South Lake Tahoe and Gardnerville Ranchos, will see overnight pooling of smoke tonight and smoky conditions tomorrow morning.

Health and Safety:
Reduce how much smoke you inhale. Reduce Your Exposure
