This week, Cal OES welcomes you to learn more about Daniel Martinez, Tribal Liaison with the Cal OES Office of Tribal Coordination.
Daniel Martinez is the Northern California Tribal Liaison with the Cal OES Office of Tribal Coordination. He has been with Cal OES for five years, previously serving in Grant Victim Services and Individual Assistance.
Throughout his tenure, Daniel has supported response and recovery efforts for various emergencies and federally declared disasters under Logistics, Operations, Individual Assistance and Tribal Affairs.
During his time with Individual Assistance, he found fulfillment in assisting disaster survivors and navigating the early stages of recovery in Disaster Recovery Centers.
In his current role, he works closely with Tribal Nations across the state, strengthening partnerships and assisting with disaster preparing, planning, responding and recovering from Disasters.
He believes in the Mission and Role of CalOES and proud to be a part of this agency.
