Local Assistance Center to Support French Fire Survivors

The California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) in partnership with local, state, and federal agencies will open a Local Assistance Center (LAC) to aid French Fire survivors in Kern County. The LAC will open in Wofford Heights on September 10-11.

LACs are activated following major disasters to support survivors and businesses suffering disaster-related losses or damages. Each center is locally operated with support from local, state, federal, and non-profit agencies.

HOURS OF OPERATION:

Friday 9/10 – 10:00am to 6:00pm

Saturday 9/11 – 10:00am to 5:00pm

COVID INFORMATION:

Mask are recommended for vaccinated people & required for those unvaccinated

No testing or vaccine support requested.
