In response to the Brannan/Isleton Island Fire in Sacramento County, the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) in partnership with local, state, and federal agencies announced the opening of a Local Assistance Center (LAC) to aid survivors.
LACs are activated following major disasters to support survivors and businesses suffering disaster-related losses or damages. Each center is locally operated with support from local, state, federal, and non-profit agencies. Cal OES recommends Californians directly reach out to their county or LAC for updated information on recovery services. We will provide updates as new information becomes available.
