Continuing to work to protect California communities from violence, the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) is now accepting California State Nonprofit Security Grant Program (CSNSGP) applications.
The CSNSGP provides grants for physical security enhancements to nonprofit organizations that are at high risk for violent attacks and hate crimes due to ideology, beliefs or mission. Possible upgrades include reinforced doors and gates, high-intensity lighting and alarms, access control and more.
The Program also promotes emergency preparedness coordination and collaboration activities between public and private community representatives as well as state and local government agencies.
