A Local Assistance Center Opens in Sacramento County for the Apartment Fire

In partnership with Sacramento County, the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) opens a Local Assistance Center (LAC) for the Apartment Fire at the North Highland Community Center on Sunday, November 24 for ONE DAY ONLY.

LACs are activated following disasters to support survivors and businesses suffering disaster-related losses or damages.
Each center is locally operated with support from state agencies, federal partners and non-profit organizations.

Hours of Operation: Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

State Agencies:

  • California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV)
    • Can assist with replacing lost or destroyed driver’s license
  • California Department of Insurance (CDI)
    • Can assist with attaining vital documents and assist with insurance claims
