A Local Assistance Center Opens in Los Angeles County for the Franklin Fire

In partnership with Los Angeles County, the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) opens a Local Assistance Center (LAC) to support households impacted by the Franklin Fire at the Malibu City Hall on Tuesday, December 17 for ONE DAY ONLY.

LACs are activated following disasters to support survivors and businesses suffering disaster-related losses or damages. Each center is locally operated with support from state agencies, federal partners and non-profit organizations.
