Upcoming Deadlines to Apply for Disaster Recovery Help

LOS ANGELES – Several deadlines are approaching for individuals impacted by the Los Angeles Wildfires.

FEMA Individual Assistance: March 10, 2025

Apply online at DisasterAssistance.gov, by calling FEMA’s helpline at 800-621-3362, or by using the FEMA mobile app. If you use a relay service, such as video relay (VRS), captioned telephone or other service, give FEMA the number for that service. You may also apply at a Disaster Recovery Center. Visit the DRC Locator for a center near you.

 

SBA Disaster Loan: March 10, 2025

Apply for a Small Business Administration Disaster Loan online at https://lending.sba.gov or call SBA at 800-659-2955. Individuals who are deaf or hard-of-hearing may call 800-877-8339.

 

FEMA Public Assistance: March 9, 2025

Local governments and private nonprofit organizations (PNPs), including houses of worship and other faith-based organizations may file a Request for Public Assistance (RPA) online at the FEMA Grants Portal at grantee.fema.gov, and click on “Register your Organization and Request Public Assistance” (at bottom of opening page). Fill in the requested information.

In Person. Pick up a form at a Disaster Recovery Center. Visit the DRC Locator to find a location.

 

Disaster Unemployment Assistance: March 10, 2025

If you are unable to work due to the wildfire disaster, apply online at DUA.gov.
