As California endures storm impacts, the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) is coordinating with the California Department of Social Services and local governments to ensure impacted communities have access to shelters and vital services.
Shelters provide resources including food, water, cots, blankets and hygiene kits and are critical to helping survivors get back on their feet. Shelters are ADA accessible and service animals will be accommodated. Household pets may be accepted based on location.
Shelters accept all people regardless of legal or residential status. Identification or personal information will not be required for entry.
