The California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES), in coordination with local and state agencies, is providing critical resources to survivors of the Caldor Fire, which has now burned more than 191,000 acres in El Dorado County.
A Local Assistance Center (LAC) will remain open through September 4 to offer assistance and access services to people impacted by the wildfire.
Disaster survivors whose homes were destroyed or damaged will be able to find information and resources for driver’s license and car registration/title replacement, emotional support programs, property debris removal, hazardous materials cleanup, and more.
